Yeah, all you freaks have been waiting for this for a long time! This is the original SBC 7" that was released back in 1989. We remastered the stuff (it sounds pretty fuckin' good!!) and reissued it on CD with some bonus stuff. . Too Many Boss, Big Barbeque, Disjustice and Captain of the World were the tunes from the 7", and we added FORMALDEHEAD (recorded in August of '89), DANCE (recorded in 1991) TRY and LU LU LA (basement tapes from early 1989) and an interview recorded in '89 of WMBR in Cambridge. No true fan would be without this baby, and we put it out at a special price so you have NO EXCUSE!!!!! Check out the history of Boston Hardcore!
SAM BLACK CHURCH - "That Which Does Not Kill Us.... Makes Us Stronger" - 1997
Produced by SBC and Rich Costey. Engineered by Rich Costey.
Whilst trying to extricate themselves from their old record deal, SBC recorded two demos for a possible deal with Geffen that were unavailable to their fans. Until now! We got 'em right here for ya - all eight barnburners on one disc. And they sound fucking killer.
"Sam Black Church's punk-metal alloy is impossible to ignore or resist."- Album Network
SAM BLACK CHURCH - "The Black Comedy" 1998
Produced by SBC and Ken Cmar. Engineered by Ken Cmar.
SBC fans rejoice! "The Black Comedy" is the masterpiece that the band has finally been able to make after years of EP's and wrangling with their former label.
