is the
embodiment pure anger. Armed to the

with fury, Watchmaker hits the stage

brutal noise metal. They are a killing
machine
that harks to the evil sounds of Kreator,
Voi Vod, and Vio-lence. |
| Watchmaker grew out of a rebirth. The founding members, Brian Livoti (Vocal Terror), Paul Vaughan (Guitar Attack), and Michael Garret (Drum Turret), were annihilating sound waves and creating noise pollution in high school. After college, Brian grew disgusted with the world around him: the fakeness of American culture, the one-dimensionality of people, and the no where existence that he saw himself falling into. |  |

Metal was the ticket out. In the book, The Watchmen, by Alan Moore, one chapter is called The Watchmaker. In this chapter, the main character destroys and recreates himself as a god. Seeing the parallels of destruction, rebirth, and a hatred of merely being a cog in the machine, the band took it's cue and began writing music to illustrate these principles. |
